B3 Corridor = Green
B4 Corridor = Yellow

In consideration of stakeholder comments from the February 2012 outreach efforts and after further analysis, two additional corridor alternatives have been studied. These two corridors, in addition to the B3 corridor (in green) were advanced for consideration in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS). The A3S2 corridor (in red) and B4 corridor (in yellow) are available for view in the above interactive map.

The project team developed conceptual 400-foot working alignments as part of the Tier 1 DEIS published July 2012, and shared those corridor maps at the public hearings held in Peotone, IL and Lowell, IN on July 31 and August 1. The three corridors identified in the DEIS are approximately 2,000 feet in width for study purposes, with some exception in constrained locations. The 400-foot conceptual working alignment also includes conceptual interchange options that will be further developed within this study area throughout the Tier 2 study process.
